Honoring Strength, Spreading Hope: Breast Cancer Awareness Month at Infinity Health

October 8th, 2025

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to unite in the fight against the most common cancer affecting women worldwide. At Infinity Health, we stand with survivors, fighters, families, and communities impacted by breast cancer. This month, we renew our commitment to education, early detection, and compassionate care for every person we serve.

Why Breast Cancer Awareness Matters

Breast cancer affects 1 in 8 women in the United States during their lifetime. It can also affect men, though less commonly. The good news is that early detection saves lives. When caught early, breast cancer is highly treatable, with survival rates significantly increasing.

At Infinity Health, we believe that knowledge is power—and access is essential. Our mission is to break down barriers to care, especially in rural and underserved communities. That includes ensuring access to routine screenings like clinical breast exams and mammograms, which are critical for early diagnosis.

Take Action: How You Can Get Involved

This October, we encourage our community to take simple steps that could make a life-saving difference:

Schedule your screening. If you’re 40 or older—or have a family history of breast cancer—talk to your healthcare provider about getting a mammogram.

Know your risk. Understanding your personal and family medical history can help determine when to begin screening.

Spread the word. Share facts, stories, and resources with your friends and family. You never know who might need a reminder to get checked.

Support a loved one. Whether someone is going through treatment or in recovery, your support means everything.

In Honor and Memory

This month, we honor the courage of those battling breast cancer, celebrate the strength of survivors, and remember the lives lost to the disease. Their stories remind us why this work is so important.

Together, we can raise awareness, support one another, and save lives.
