Infinity Health Partners with Food Bank of Iowa for Mobile Food Distribution in Leon

Good health starts with more than access to medical care. Having reliable access to nutritious food, safe housing, and other essential resources plays an important role in the health and well-being of individuals and families.

At Infinity Health, we recognize that meeting these basic needs is an important part of building healthier communities. That’s why we’re proud to partner with the Food Bank of Iowa to bring its Park-It Pantry mobile food distribution program to Leon, Iowa, on November 2, 2026.

This partnership is an opportunity to help address food insecurity in our community by connecting individuals and families with fresh produce, meat, and pantry staples at no cost.

Addressing Food Insecurity in Our Communities

Food insecurity affects individuals and families in communities of all sizes, including rural areas where access to affordable, nutritious food can present additional challenges. Rising grocery costs, transportation barriers, and limited local resources can make it difficult for households to consistently access the food they need.

Access to healthy food is also closely connected to overall health. A balanced diet supports physical and mental well-being, helps manage chronic health conditions, and contributes to healthy growth and development in children.

Through community partnerships and programs like Park-It Pantry, organizations can work together to reduce barriers to food access and provide meaningful support to neighbors experiencing food insecurity.

Bringing Park-It Pantry to Leon

The Food Bank of Iowa’s Park-It Pantry program brings food directly to communities through mobile distribution events, helping make essential groceries more accessible to individuals and families.

Infinity Health is pleased to host an upcoming distribution in Leon, providing an opportunity for community members to receive nutritious food and additional support close to home.
