LEON, IA (June 1, 2023) – Through a partnership with Amerigroup Iowa, IowaHealth+ has earned over $3 million in shared savings for providing quality healthcare services to Iowa’s Medicaid population during 2021. Infinity Health is a member of IowaHealth+ and earned a share of these savings to reinvest in patient care.

Infinity Health is a member of IowaHealth+, a clinically integrated network owned and managed by 11 community health centers in Iowa and the Iowa Primary Care Association. The organization is dedicated to advancing the concepts of value-based care, while furthering and reinvesting in the unique mission of community health centers.

Since 2016, IowaHealth+ and Amerigroup Iowa have partnered together to serve Medicaid members in Iowa to improve access to high quality healthcare services and reduce the overall cost of care. IowaHealth+ and Amerigroup have focused on building a system of care to ensure the health of patients and communities today is sustainable into the future. Through this value-based care partnership, patients of community health centers receive high quality, coordinated care at a lower overall cost to the State of Iowa.
